No time to wait as Royal Doulton releases limited edition James Bond bulldog

Royal Doulton has released a limited edition ceramic ornament to commemorate the latest James Bond film No Time to Die - and the iconic bulldog even gets a cameo in the film to celebrate.

First spotted on-screen as an ornament on M's desk, Jack the Bulldog was a significant plot point in Skyfall, where he survived an office explosion before being given to Bond by Moneypenny after M (Dame Judi Dench) bequeathed it to him in her will. In a memorable rooftop scene, Moneypenny said suggested the gift was M's way of telling Bond to get a desk job, while Bond replied: "Just the opposite." Despite his dislike of the ornament, Jack also appeared on Bond's coffee table in Spectre three years later.

Not only does Jack make a brief return in the newly released Bond film, but Royal Doulton have updated him in this new version handmade in porcelain - while he's still wearing iconic Union Flag coat he also has all his cracks and chips gained from his time at MI6. Jack also comes with a new codename - DD 007 B - a certificate of authenticity and a special No Time to Die presentation box.

Priced at £65, Bond fans are already snapping up the desk ornament. Previous versions of Jack released to commemorate the releases of Skyfall and Spectre have increased significantly in value for collectors over the years, and now go for as much as £999 for the Skyfall version and £175 for the Spectre one.
