The UK Pokémon National History Collaboration was set to go live immediately, allowing those lucky enough to receive an early ticket allocation the chance to sign up and join. However, as expected, the link and site are broken before it even began.
If anyone tries to click the link, they will be met by a 404 error, denying them access to get their tickets due to an apparent wrong hyperlink, which kinda sucks for those who wanted to book tickets to the venue, like myself, to get some exclusive merch before scalpers likely came in and swooped it all.
And trust me, Destructoid, I have tried a workaround for this for the past 30 minutes easily. Checking social media to see if anyone has found a workaround, changing individual parts of the link, and contacting customer support, only to be met by the usual AI bot. Nothing is working and as the clock ticks away before public access get to buy the tickets some of us were lucky enough to have been able to get early access to, you have to ask what Pokémon will do, if anything, to rectify this situation.
For those unaware of the upcoming event, Pokémon is teaming up with the British National History Museum in early 2026 for a timed event showcasing something and offering a range of exclusive merchandise to ticket holders (although, thankfully, no Pokémon cards will be included, unlike the Van Gogh Museum event). Trainers could sign up ahead of time to get a chance to get tickets before the public sale, and a few people who were lucky enough are now having issues.
Update 5:27 a.m. CT: The site has finally sent a link, but now everyone is stuck in a virtual queue for who knows how long, hoping to secure a spot, and it might all be sold out by the time we get in there. So, Arceus speed, trainers! Wishing you the best of luck!
