'No suspicious circumstances' in death of Wirral man found at home alone

A Wirral man found dead at his home may have a brother in the L11 area of Liverpool.

Merseyside Police issued an appeal on behalf of Liverpool coroner's office for help in tracing relatives of Albert Ellis, who died on Friday July 23.

The 74-year-old was found at his home in Seabank Road, Wallasey.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We are appealing on behalf of Liverpool coroner's office for help in finding the next of kin of a Wirral man.

"Albert Ellis ,74-years, sadly died at his home address in Seabank Road, Wirral on Friday, 23 July.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

"It’s possible he has a brother living in the L11 area.

Anyone with information about Mr. Ellis' next of kin is asked to contact 0151 233 5770 or email HMCoroner@liverpool.gov.uk."
