THE man behind the No Scotland, No Party Tartan Army anthem has joined the bill for an island music festival taking place this week.
Nick Morgan will play as part of the Tiree Music Festival’s Warm Up night on Thursday, getting crowds in the mood for all the festival’s 15th edition celebrations to follow. He will also play in the festival’s Wee Top on Friday.
Morgan, from Ayrshire, toured schools across the Hebrides earlier this summer ahead of the World Cup.
Tiree Music Festival artistic director Daniel Gillespie said: “Nick has captured the hearts of Scotland fans over the last few years and felt like such a fun addition to our 15th festival .
“Tiree crowds are always lively and I don’t doubt that everyone singing along and jumping up and down to No Scotland, No Party will be a moment to remember.”
Thousands are preparing to descend on Tiree for the festival. What started as a 600-capacity event in a community hall car park now attracts people from all over the world.
Morgan joins the latest talent added to the TMF 2026 bill alongside a host of headline names including Tide Lines, Peat & Diesel, Skerryvore, Skipinnish, Dougie MacLean, Sharon Shannon, The Laurettes and The Eves,
Attendees will also see electro-trad band Mec Lir, Gaelic group DLÙ, MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards 2025 Up and Coming Act of the Year Dàna, Lochaber’s brother-led group Scotstown Dance Band and Fife singer songwriter Robyn Smith perform.
As well as a packed line-up of trad, folk, roots, indie, pop and acoustic acts, visitors also have the chance to enjoy a fringe programme of wellness and island adventure activities such as beachfront yoga, saunas and surfing.
The festival takes place on from Friday 10 until Sunday July 12.
