There is still no confirmed date for the reopening of libraries in Rutherglen and Cambuslang .
The buildings have been shut since the coronavirus pandemic started to spread.
The Scottish Government’s roadmap out of lockdown has libraries reopening in phase three, which is currently ongoing.
However S outh Lanarkshire Council have yet to confirm a date.
General Manager of South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, David Booth, said: “At this stage it is too early to confirm when libraries across South Lanarkshire will be reopening.
“We will follow the advice and guidance of the Scottish Government and will communicate any news through the usual council channels.”
