A Glasgow care home worker has been struck off this week after being caught in a sex act in a patient's bedroom.
Melissa Campbell and a colleague were supposed to be caring for very vulnerable people when they left two of them unsupervised while they indulged in their illicit behaviour.
An investigation by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) heard she failed to offer an apology or show regret for her actions while employed as a support worker by Community Integrated Care.

The incident unfolded in September 2021 when the pair were on duty together.
They used a room belonging to one of the two people they were responsible for caring for to "engage in sexual behaviour".
In a report published today, the SSSC told Campbell: "Your behaviour is serious and falls well below the standard expected of a social service worker.
"As a social service worker, you must meet the relevant standards of practice and work in a lawful, safe, and effective way. However, you have engaged in sexual behaviour with your colleague during a time when you were trusted by your employe rto provide support to users of services."
Investigators found the incident put the two service users at risk for harm because they were not supervised, but also by potentially exposing them to witnessing sexual activity.
The report went on: "Your behaviour violated the fundamental values of the profession and breached the trust and confidence placed on you by your employer, users of services and members of the public."
