No Redskins show up on PFF’s Top 50 players for 2019

The Washington Redskins have plenty of talent on the roster heading into 2019, yet it is clear they will have to make believers out of doubters often.

Despite the talent, no members of the Redskins show up on a top-50 list from Pro Football Focus for the coming season.

Interesting, as heavyweight names like Trent Williams and Ryan Kerrigan would figure to get mentions given their sterling track records when healthy. Even someone such as new arrival Landon Collins figured to be flirting with the top 50.

But to wrap up the 2018 season, Zach Brown was the only Redskins player to make PFF’s top 101 list — he’s now with Philadelphia.

As always, winning cures all, including situations like this. Williams and Kerrigan should annually be in the conversation. Upstarts like Collins and perhaps Derrius Guice, if not more, could also leap into contention if the Redskins can string together a healthy season and realize some of the roster’s intriguing potential.
