No Rangers transfer interest in Lyndon Dykes insists Livingston boss Gary Holt

Livingston boss Gary Holt insists there has been no interest from Rangers in striker Lyndon Dykes.

The Livi talisman has been widely linked with a move to Ibrox this summer after an impressive season with the Premiership side.

Holt believes transfer talk for any of his players can only be a good thing, but says there has been no approach from Steven Gerrard's side for Dykes.

He told Sky Sports: "I can’t stop anybody being interested, but that only happens when you’re playing well - simple as that.

"It’s very rare someone comes and buys players who aren’t playing, so it just gives him an opportunity to impress even more in the early part of the season, hopefully.

"It’s part of football, and it gives us an opportunity as well to keep looking for what’s out there."

When asked about a potential move for Dykes to Ibrox, he added: "(There’s been) zero interest. We are where we are and it’s not changed."
