I don't know whether I should laugh or cry about the product of our government's hard and diligent work in its efforts to reform Thailand's higher education.
But after going through the Higher Education Bill, I think I'd rather cry, and wish our policy makers would be idle or spend their time and energy on something else. One party that should have been idle on the issue is the Ministry of Education which proposed the bill.
Yes, the ministry is responsible for our valuable education system. As usual, its latest push for education reform is being questioned.
