No positive coronavirus tests in NBA bubble for fifth week in a row

It has officially been more than a month since the last positive coronavirus case was reported inside the NBA bubble.

None of the 341 players tested since Aug. 12 received positive coronavirus results, the NBA and players association announced in the weekly COVID-19 report Wednesday afternoon.

There have been no positive results on the NBA’s report since July 13, when two players had received positive tests.

With six teams having left the bubble since the last report was given, there are now fewer people for the league to worry about, whether it be coaches, players or staff.

The league has officially gotten to the playoffs cleanly. As it has over the past several weeks, it looks like the NBA found a way to contain the virus.

The Oklahoma City Thunder lost Game One of the first round to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.

Game Two will take place on Thursday, where the Thunder will try to even up the series.
