According to a statistical rankings list compiled by NBA.com this week, no player in the NBA has scored more points during this decade than LeBron James. The statistical rankings include the leaders in total points, total rebounds, total assists, total steals, total blocks as well as several other categories over the past 10 seasons combined (2009-10 through 2018-19). James topped the scoring list with 19,550 points followed by Kevin Durant (19,445), James Harden (18,627), Russell Westbrook (17,603) and Stephen Curry (16,315).
LeBron was 25 years old when this most recent decade began during the 2009-10 campaign. He’d average 29.7 points in what would become the final season of his first tour with the Cleveland Cavaliers that year. Over the next four seasons with the Miami Heat, he’d average 26.9 points while winning two championships. When the King landed back in Cleveland in 2015, he’d average at least 25.3 points every year while topping out at 27.5 before scoring 27.4 during his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
In addition to headlining the total points category, LeBron is ranked among the top-10 in more categories than any other player on the NBA.com list. James ranks No. 10 in total rebounding (5,573), No. 4 in total assists (5,503) and No. 7 in total steals (1,107).
