No pick tipping from the broadcast networks in this year’s draft

During a conference call with reporters to go over some 2020 NFL Draft questions, an exec from the NFL Network promised there will be no tipping of picks during the broadcasts. Mark Quenzel of the NFL Network declared that neither his network nor ESPN will allow analysts or on-air personalities to reveal who is about to be drafted before it’s officially announced.

Pick-tipping is always a hot-button issue with fans. Some love knowing who a team is picking as quickly as possible, while others prefer to wait for the official word from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell or his stand-ins later in the draft.

With the remote nature of this year’s draft, there could be some security concerns if media members are able to get the information to tip the picks, too.
