ROHTAK: Claiming that efforts were on to divide the community and scuttle the farmers’ agitation, the Akhil Bharatiya Jat Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti (ABJASS) on Thursday said it had no plans to start parallel protests.
At a press conference here on Thursday, samiti’s state spokesperson Rohtash Hooda said a few former members had “spread lies that ABJASS national head Yashpal Malik wanted to weaken the farmers’ agitation”.
Hooda said the samiti had decided to boycott the BJP in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab to demand reservation, while the only other decisions were to dissolve its national executive council.
