CHANDIGARH: The UT administration has rejected a panel of Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officials sent by the state government for deputation, asking to send one in which officers have experience of five years and more.
Sources said the administration has said they will not consider a panel of officers having less than five years of service. Sources further added that in the panel that was rejected there were some officials who were of 2019 batch.
A senior official said they have now sought a fresh panel from the Haryana government. The panel was sent against recently repatriated HCS officer Radhika Singh, he added.
The Haryana government had recently turned down further extension to three HCS officers Radhika Singh, Virat and Ruchi Bedi. They were recently repatriated to their parent cadre. The UT is already facing a severe crunch of administrators with many officers holding multiple charges.
The administration had sought fresh panel against these officers.
However, there are HCS officials who after completing almost five years in their first term came back to Chandigarh for second term.
