Olympic gold medallist Noemie Fox has allayed injury fears, declaring she's fit to challenge for a world slalom title in the absence of sister Jessica.
Fox, who won the kayak cross event at the Paris Olympics, revealed she'd been kept out of action in the lead-up to the world championships in Penrith due to a neck complaint.
Triple Olympic gold medallist and sister Jessica has already withdrawn from the event after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour on her kidney.
But Fox, 27, was able to return to training on Monday - with Jessica watching from the banks - after three days off ahead of the September 29 start.

"It was good fun. I was off training for a few days due to a bit of a neck - I don't want to say injury, but tightness and blocked up," Fox told AAP.
"It's great to be out there. One week to go, it's all starting to feel really real.
"Now, it's all about executing technical practice and just trusting the hard work that we've already put in.
"It's great to be out there and to see it all coming to life and to see so much action around the bank."

Fox said she wasn't concerned the neck issue would affect her bid for a third world title.
The French-born Penrith product claimed gold in the women's canoe team in 2019 before taking the 2023 gold in the kayak women's team.
"Just a blocked neck that sometimes happens in our sport," Fox said.
"Sometimes maybe stress, sometimes just a tiny, faux movement, and then the body says, 'stop'.
"It makes you realise how much you love it and how much health is wealth.
"It's also cliche, as that one sounds, but it really is true.
"We really try to push our bodies to the max, and this time, before a world, this is all about keeping fit ... so just a little niggle."
