Fans have been reacting after Todd Cantwell posted a transfer hint on Instagram.
The Norwich City midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Leeds United, although it remains to be seen as to whether the Whites will make a move for him before the domestic window shuts on Friday.
Cantwell has been committed from Norwich's squad in recent matches amid speculation over his future. Yet he appears to have reaffirmed his commitment to the Canaries with a post on his Instagram story.
Here is how fans of Leeds and Norwich reacted.
Cantwell posted an image of himself celebrating a goal for Norwich with the caption: "I love my club. We rise together."
It perhaps suggests a stay at Carrow Road is in the offing for the England youth international.
Reports recently have claimed Norwich City are increasingly confident of keeping hold of the midfielder.
With the Canaries unwilling to sell for less than their £20m asking price, it could mean no club decides to make a move for the 22-year-old in this window.
Instead, clubs could leave it until January before following up on their interest in the player.
If the Whites do opt to make a move for Cantwell, then they have to do so before Friday's domestic deadline.
Clubs have up until 5pm on Friday to complete any deals, with Premier League and EFL sides able to trade with each other up until that point.
Cantwell impressed in the Premier League last season, netting seven times in 40 appearances for a poor Norwich side.
His contract at Carrow Road runs until June 2022.
