Nottinghamshire's vaccination hubs are not offering walk-in boosters - but there are "plenty" of appointments available online.
More than 500,000 people booked a Covid booster jab on December 13, Prime Minister Boris Johnson says, with many jumping on the chance to gain extra protection against the new Omicron variant.
Bookings for over-30s opened on Monday, while anyone over 18 will be able to book from December 15.
Some concerns had been raised during a council meeting over a lack of staff and volunteers in Nottinghamshire, with a vaccination bus visit to the Broxtowe Borough being cancelled due to shortages.
Some people said they were "frustrated" having turned up at the Forest Recreation Ground for a booster jab, only to be told no.
However many have reported getting a jab following an appointment has been fairly smooth sailing.
The Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has now confirmed there are no walk-ins available for boosters.
According to the CCG there is more capacity at vaccination hubs further afield, including in Mansfield.
These appointments can be booked for those willing to travel, if struggling to find one more locally.
The CCG added: "There are thousands of appointments available across the city and county - you may wish to consider travelling slightly further to get one sooner.
"New [appointments] get loaded on every day so please keep checking back if you can't find one convenient for you straightaway."
