No new coronavirus deaths have been reported in Greater Manchester hospitals for the fourth day in a row, latest NHS figures reveal.
It means the region's hospital death toll remains at 2,150.
Nationally, the death toll has risen by six.
NHS England reported today the six were patients aged between 65 and 93.
All six were said to have underlying health conditions and had tested positive for Covid-19.
The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England now stands at 29,419, NHS England said.
In total, more than 46,000 people have died nationally.
The six deaths came in the North East and Yorkshire (2) and the South East (4) regions.
NHS England said on Monday there had been no new deaths in the North West reguion.
Each day the NHS in England publishes the number of deaths recorded by each hospital trust in the last 24-hour period.
These are deaths where the person had tested positive for the virus or where COVID-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.
NHS England's daily figures sometimes include previously uncounted deaths that took place several days - or even weeks ago.
They do not include deaths in care homes or community settings.
