More patients who tested positive for coronavirus have died in Nottingham's hospitals.
Nottingham University Hospitals confirmed on May 9 that two more people across the trust's two sites have died - taking the total to 232.
The patients, aged 81 and 95, both died on May 8.
Dr Keith Girling, medical director at Nottingham University Hospitals, said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further two patients have died having tested positive for Covid-19.
"Regrettably, that means that 234 Covid-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.
“The patients were aged 81 and 95, and both died on May 8.
“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
It comes as new data from Public Health England shows how many confirmed cases of coronavirus there are in each borough and district of Nottinghamshire.
The data, accurate to 5pm on May 8, shows the number of lab-confirmed cases has increased again across Nottinghamshire as of May 7, rising by a total of eight cases.
In Nottingham, data shows the number of cases increased slightly from 562 to 563, while cases increased from 1,196 to 1,203 in Nottinghamshire.
Official data from the Office for National Statistics has also revealed just how many people have died with Covid-19 in settings outside hospital.
Coronavirus cases data has now been further broken up to cover lower-tier local authorities, but it is worth noting the data only represents lab-confirmed cases, and there are likely to have been many more unconfirmed cases in each area.

The data shows that the seven further cases across Nottinghamshire came in Mansfield (2), Ashfield (2), Bassetlaw (2) and Rushcliffe (1).
