No further coronavirus deaths were recorded in Merseyside's hospitals across the whole of this weekend.
Despite the region suffering hundreds of coronavirus deaths in hospitals, the number of deaths in hospitals has fallen dramatically.
Today's figures released by NHS England cover deaths recorded in hospitals and do not include deaths in other settings such as homes and care homes.
The data also reflects when deaths are recorded not when they actually occurred. There have also been reporting lags at weekends.
The North West as a whole reported no additional coronavirus deaths across all the region's hospital trusts.
Nationally, a further nine people have died in hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.

This brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,281.
The East of England and the South East both recorded three deaths each while the Midlands and the North East & Yorkshire reported a further two and one deaths respectively.
An NHS England spokesperson said: "A further nine people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospital in England to 29, 281.
"Patients were aged between 36 and 89 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.
"Their families have been informed."
