No new coronavirus deaths recorded in Northern Ireland for third day in a row

The Department of Health has recorded no new  Covid-19  deaths in Northern Ireland for the third day in a row.

Figures indicate that the death toll in Northern Ireland has remained at 537 for the last 72 hours.

According to the  Department  on Tuesday, three  positive tests  were recorded yesterday.

The total number of confirmed cases in Northern Ireland has now risen to 4,805.

A total of 60,687 individuals have been tested for the virus in Northern Ireland since the start of the pandemic.

There were nine new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ireland on Tuesday, with a further four deaths, it has emerged.

The update brought the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 here, as of midnight on Sunday, June 7, to 25,207.

The death toll is now 1,683.
