No new coronavirus cases in Nottingham over past 24 hours, Public Health England data shows

The latest data released by Public Health England shows there were no new confirmed coronavirus cases in the city of Nottingham over the past 24 hours.

As of 5pm on Monday, June 1, the number of lab-confirmed cases within the city remained at 611, meaning there was no increase at all from the day before.

In Nottinghamshire, the number of cases increased from 1,412 to 1,415 - an rise of just three cases.

There are now a total of 2,026 cases across the city and county.

Data shows that only north Nottinghamshire - Mansfield and Ashfield - experienced a slight rise in cases over the past 24 hours.

Mansfield had two further confirmed cases, while Ashfield had only one.

Gedling - 220 / infection rate 186.8

Rushcliffe - 194 / infection rate 164.0

Mansfield - 131 increased to 133 / infection rate 122.2

Ashfield - 240 increased to 241 / infection rate 189.5

Newark and Sherwood - 163 / infection rate 134.1

Bassetlaw - 228 / infection rate 195.1

Broxtowe - 237 / infection rate 209.2

This marked an improvement over the past 48 hours, when cases increased by a more substantial margin between Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.

There is typically a rise after the weekend, so confirmed cases may go up as the week goes on.

The data also only shows that of lab-confirmed cases of those who have been tested.

A total of 39,045 people have now died across the UK, with 276,332 confirmed cases to date.
