No more Grand Prix?

Infogrames has presumably now closed the British development studio behind Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix series of games, if Gamesindustrybiz's rerport is correct. F1GP has been an iconic title for the British games industry, having started as Revs on the BBC Micro. The closure is almost the end for the once-mighty MicroProse, which was co-founded by Sid Meier (Railroad Tycoon, Civilization, Alpha Centauri etc). Otherwise the story is: French owner. American label, minus 27 British jobs.
