'No matter how trivial': police renew plea over Devora Howard's death

MYSTERY: Devora Howard's body was found near Terrigal Haven boat ramp earlier this week.

POLICE say no detail is too small to help them determine how a Central Coast woman died earlier this week.

Strike Force Pittendrigh investigators renewed their appeal for help to determine how Devora Howard, 56, died. Ms Howard was found by a fisherman about 7.10am on Tuesday roughly 250 metres north of the boat ramp.

The strike force was established to determine how the Wamberal woman died.

Brisbane Water Police District crime manager Detective Chief Inspector Steve Laksa said any information could help determine Ms Howard's final movements.

"Any information, no matter how trivial it is considered to be, may assist investigators," he said.

"Anyone who may have entered the street that day, either by car or by foot, please contact Gosford Police Station on 4323 5599 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."

The renewed appeal comes two days after police called for information.

That plea has now focused to a search for witnesses or dash-cam footage of Pacific Street headed towards Terrigal Lagoon.

Ms Howard was last seen wearing white jeans and a grey jumper.
