No Lions make the top-100 NFL players list from Touchdown Wire

Over at our brother site, Touchdown Wire, analyst Doug Farrar has spent the summer evaluating and ranking NFL players at every position. And while some Lions did crack those top-11 positional lists, no Detroit players earned a place in his final list, the top 100 players in the NFL today.

No Darius Slay. No Damon Harrison. No Kerryon Johnson, Quandre Diggs, Frank Ragnow or Kenny Golladay. Not even venerable Pro Bowl long snapper Don Muhlbach.

Harrison does get a passing mention in the paragraph of players who just missed the cut, but that’s the only Detroit representation in the top 100.

It shows the relative level of national respect or regard for the top-end talent on the Lions roster. It’s up to the players to prove the doubt wrong.
