'No JCH, no problem' - Bristol Rovers fans react as Gas move into fourth in League One

Graham Coughlan admitted after victory over MK Dons that he was concerned by the break as the extended lay-off in light of Bury's expulsion from League One meant the head of steam the Gas had built up through September was in danger of evaporating.

But despite not playing for two weeks, Rovers maintained their outstanding form throughout autumn with another three points to move up to fourth, above supposed league heavyweights Sunderland and Portsmouth, further reinforcing the fine job Graham Coughlan is doing as manager .

The victory was also important as it was achieved with top-scorer and talisman Jonson Clarke-Harris , who will be out for the next five weeks with a calf strain.

And although it may not have been the most aesthetically-pleasing 90 minutes, it was once again some brutally-effective football by the Gas with many supporters still trying to get their heads around the league table.

You have to go back to August 31 since the Gas last lost in League One and April 22 since they were last defeated at the Mem.
