For the 182 men and women who graduated from the NSW Police Academy at Goulburn on Friday, it wasn't quite the celebration they expected.
Covid restrictions kept friends and family away as Commissioner Mick Fuller swore in the students of Class 348 .
The attestation marks the culmination of eight months of training and study.
The students will start work on Monday across various NSW regions, bearing the rank of probationary constable.
They will then complete 12 months of on-the-job training and study by distance education.
The ranks of the graduates include 121 men and 61 women. Over half the class are between 21 and 25 years old.
