No exit for Gorgeous George as Pete packs again

Pete Burns has to go through the rigmarole of trying to stuff his corsets, g-strings, support tights and enough slap to stock a Boots counter in to his suitcase once again after being nominated for eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house for the second time in a row.

Up for eviction on Wednesday night alongside Burns are Sven Goran Eriksson's former playmate Faria Alam and ex-Chicago Bull Dennis Rodman.

But Respect MP George Galloway has avoided the relegation zone this time around and is set to stave off those difficult questions from his colleagues in the House of Commons, not to mention his constituents, for a while longer.

Having told housemate Rula Lenska he couldn't bear the idea of losing a vote to glamour model Jodie Marsh – who was ejected last Friday – Galloway's form in winning elections as a rank outsider without a hope in hell's chance may be coming in to play.

But SportingOdds.com puts Galloway's odds on romping to victory in the three-week chase at 33/1 – with only Lenska and Alam behind him. Resident non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton is in the lead with odds of 1/2, followed by Samuel "I don't fancy her, honest" Preston at 7/2.

If Burns walks, or rather totters, tomorrow night, surely the show will be all the duller for it? If Faria goes, will anyone notice? If Dennis goes, will the women of the house heave a huge sigh of relief?
