No dog left behind! Dublin Fire Brigade rescue pup from rising water levels in kennel

Dublin Fire Brigade came to the rescue again this weekend as a distressed dog was saved from a flooded kennel following heavy rain.

After a massive burst of heavy rainfall, water levels in the Skerries property drastically rose.

As the picture shows, the interior of the kennel that the dog was in became dangerously flooded.

Firefighters used a pump to divert water out of the property and save the grateful pup.

DFB took to twitter to reassure everyone that the dog was in safe hands following the ruff expereience.

They said: "Skerries firefighters were called to flooded properties over the weekend after heavy rain.

"They pumped/diverted water & took this little doggy to safety.

They even had time to add a pun at the end, adding: "The kennel had flooded due to it raining cats & dogs."

Everyone loves a pawsitive ending!
