The Arizona Cardinals will face a San Francisco 49ers squad without three key offensive players. The 49ers will be without their top two receivers in Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. They will also be without starting center Ben Garland.
Samuel was placed on injured reserve, which means he will miss at least three games. Aiyuk and Garland were among the inactives.
Here are the 49ers’ inactives:
- QB C.J. Beathard
- WR Bradon Aiyuk
- CB Jason Verrett
- LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles
- OL Ben Garland
- DL Kentavius Street
At receiver, that means the 49ers will rely on Dante Pettis, Trent Taylor and Kendrick Bourne.
With no Garland, that means Tom Compton will get to play alongside Dane Brunskill.
