Christian Pulisic is on his way to becoming a firm favourite amongst Chelsea supporters.
The USA international joined the Blues from Borussia Dortmund for £58m in the January transfer window, but was loaned back to the Bundesliga outfit for the remainder of the season.
He's yet to join up with his new teammates for pre-season due to Gold Cup action this summer.
Despite suffering heartbreak in last weekend's defeat in the final against Mexico, Pulisic offered Chelsea fans a glimpse of what he can do.
The forward made a big impression at the tournament and he was rewarded for his performances by picking up the Young Player of the 2019 Gold Cup award after scoring three and registering the same number of assists.
Now it's all about club matters for Pulisic and The Evening Standard reported last month that the ex-Dortmund winger is not intending to take much time off and he is indeed targeting a place on the club's pre-season trip to Japan.
Players competing in international tournaments this summer have generally been given three weeks off to recover, but it would appear that Pulisic wants to make an early impression on the new Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard.
So much so that his father, Mark, posted a video clip of him putting some work in ahead of pre-season.
