BHOPAL: A total of 10 new cases were reported in the city on Friday taking the count of cases reported so far to 123220.
Reports of a total of around 6313 samples were received on Friday. Positivity rate, which is the number of people testing positive out of every 100 samples tested, was around 0.15% in the city on Friday. This means that out of every 2000 samples which were tested around 3 persons were found to be positive, said sources. On the brighter side, 12 people recovered from the disease. With these people recovering from the disease the total number of people who have recovered in the city reached 122163. As per the sources, no death was reported in the city. Covid-19 has so far claimed 972 lives in the city. And Friday was the fourteenth consecutive day when no deaths were reported in the city.
