There have been no new coronavirus deaths recorded at hospitals across the entire North West region today.
The latest data from NHS England reported no additional fatalities at any hospital in the North West - including all Merseyside Trusts.
However, experts continue to warn that there is usually a lag in reporting of coronavirus death figures during and immediately after a weekend.

NHS England recorded a total of just five new coronavirus deaths in today's update.
However, the government will later release a fuller report into new deaths, which willl also include deaths in care homes, communities and all other settings.
