No coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in Leeds hospitals for more than three weeks.
Sadly, elsewhere in the county a patient who tested positive for the disease has died.
This brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in the region's hospitals to 2,577.
The patient was being cared for at Mid Yorkshire Hospital NHS Trust.
The latest NHS figures show that a further 15 people, who tested positive for the disease have died in England.
Patients were aged between 67 and 100 years old. All except one individual (aged 91) had known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
So far, 29,401 people who tested positive for coronavirus died in English hospitals since the outbreak began.
Since April 28, NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no positive test result, but where Covid-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
Today, 12 deaths have been reported with no positive Covid-19 test result.
From today face coverings are compulsory to wear in many new locations under new guidelines released by the government.
People in England are required to don a covering on their face in shops, shopping centres, banks, takeaway outlets, post offices, sandwich shops and supermarket.
