No further coronavirus deaths were recorded at Merseyside hospitals over the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures.
NHS England's daily update on the number of deaths recorded by every hospital trust show no further deaths in across our region.
The figures enable government and health care bosses to assess the progress being made in tackling levels of the disease.
A 24 hour period with no new deaths recorded on Merseyside represents a hopeful update from the NHS today.
However, figures reported on weekends have tended to be lower throughout the crisis.
Death totals for coronavirus at Trusts covering our region remain the same, meaning no new fatalities have been added.
This follows yesterday's update, which confirmed two further deaths had been recorded - one at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and one at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
