'No complaints' - Sunderland fans pleased as Phil Parkinson rings the changes for Gillingham

Phil Parkinson has made four changes to the Sunderland side to face Gillingham this afternoon.

Luke O'Nien returns to the starting eleven following his suspension and is likely to take his place at right wingback. Conor McLaughlin will move into the back three and loanee Dion Sanderson is dropped to the bench.

In midfield, George Dobson and Max Power have been replaced by Josh Scowen and Grant Leadbitter. Power earns a spot on the bench, while Dobson misses out on the matchday squad.

Charlie Wyke continues up front following his recent fine form, and he is partnered this afternoon by Aiden O'Brien with Chris Maguire dropping out of the eleven.

Jordan Willis - who had been on the bench at Rochdale - misses out on the matchday squad due to his ongoing knee injury.

With the Black Cats looking to bounce back to winning ways following a testing week, the changes were welcomed by supporters on social media.

Here's how Sunderland fans reacted to today's team news:

'No complaints'

'Very happy'

'First choice CM pairing'

'Much better side'

'Much better'

'Wow'
