The 49ers’ practice report didn’t change between Wednesday and Thursday, which is actually good news considering their injury situation heading into Week 6 against the Rams.
San Francisco will be without four starters: Ahkello Witherspoon, Joe Staley, Mike McGlinchey and Kyle Juszczyk. They all sustained injuries that will keep them out for multiple weeks beyond Sunday’s game. Their absence from practice isn’t a surprise, so things shouldn’t get worse as long as there aren’t new additions to the report.
