No arrests made after assault near Henbury Leisure Centre leaves man with head injury

No arrests have been made following an assault in Henbury which left a man with a head injury.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Battersby Way, near Henbury Leisure Centre, just after 7.50pm on Tuesday (April 30).

A man in his 50s was found in the street with a head injury.

He went to hospital for treatment to injuries not believed to be life-threatening and has since been discharged.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary confirmed today (May 2) that no arrests have been made in connection with the attack.

Investigations continue.
