LAWRENCE, Kan.–Devon Dotson scored 15 points as No. 14 Kansas cruised past West Virginia 78-53 on Saturday afternoon.
Dedric Lawson tallied 14 points. K.J. Lawson and Ochai Agabaji each added 10 points for the Jayhawks (20-6).
Lamont West had 11 points for the Mountaineers (10-15).
Emmitt Matthews Jr. earned his first career start and scored seven points.
WVU shot 34 percent from the floor, 13 percent from beyond the arc and 67 percent from the charity stripe.
Kansas shot 53 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range and 78 percent from the line.
WVU returns home to take on No. 18 Kansas State on Monday night at 9 p.m. (ET).
