Admiral Yutthana Fakphonngam, a member of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA), has died of liver cancer at the age of 65, according to media reports.
A royal bathing rite is scheduled to be held at Sala 1 of Wat Khruawan Worawihan in Bangkok Yai district on Sunday at 5pm.
Admiral Yutthana was a former supreme commander of the Royal Thai Armed Forces.
His death reduces the number of current NLA members to 241.
