Nisha Rawal, who levelled allegations of domestic violence against estranged husband Karan Mehra on June 1, has shared a cryptic post amid fighting a legal battle for son Kavish's custody with the Yeh Rishta actor.
The actress in her new post shared a quote by Gaur Gopal Das which read, "If you speak too much, they'll say you're cheap. If you don't speak as much, they'll say you have an attitude. If you speak just as much as is required, they'll say you're mean. Whatever you do, they'll always say something. Don't allow what they'll say to define your life."
She captioned it as, "If this is what u needed to hear too…" Several of her followers agreed with her. One wrote, "Kuch toh log kahenge! If it comes from people who don’t matter-it doesn’t matter."

In August while speaking to BT, Nisha told BT that Karan was always abusive with her and the intensity only grew in the recent years. She shared how he was absent after she went through a painful abortion in 2014. She claimed that Karan also had an extramarital affair which was the final nail in the coffin.
Nisha also said that everytime he did something wrong, he profusely apologised which made her give him another chance because she was madly in love with him.
However, after the June 1 episode where he hit her after their fight, she filed a police complaint and is now fighting a legal battle for her son's custody.
She told BT, "I don’t want any alimony. What will he provide me with that I haven’t given him? We built everything together. I started earning at a very young age and supported him throughout even before he became a part of YRKKH. I have done so much work and whoever I collaborated with will vouch for the fact that Karan was in charge of the commercials. He took away all my jewellery and everything I got with me during our marriage. I have asked him to return the jewellery he has disposed of because I need to start my life again. Meri mom ke property ke papers bhi uske paas pade hue hain, which I want him to return. There’s nothing that I am asking for myself. I am an independent girl and will look after my child and me."
