Nirvana Nevermind baby sues Kurt Cobain’s estate alleging sexual exploitation

The man famously depicted on Nirvana’s Nevermind album cover when he was a baby is suing Kurt Cobain’s estate alleging child pornography and sexual exploitation.

Spencer Elden, now 30, has filed a lawsuit in a Los Angeles court against the band alleging the image of himself, when he was four-months-old, constituted child pornography.

The album cover shows Elden in a swimming pool reaching for a dollar bill, with his genitalia exposed.

In the lawsuit, he claims he “has suffered and will continue to suffer lifelong damages” as a result and is seeking either $150,000 from each of the 15 defendants or unspecified damages to be determined at trial.

Nevermind is one of the best-selling albums of all time, having sold over 30million copies worldwide.

Represtatives for the surviving members of Nirvana and Universal Music Group have not yet commented.
