Nirbhaya case: Court adjourns hearing till January 7 on issuing death warrants

New Delhi: Delhi's Patiala House Court adjourned hearing till January 7 on Wednesday hearing in death warrants for the convicts.

The court directd Tihar Jail authorities to issue a fresh notice for one week to convicts(2012 Delhi gangrape case) as to whether they want to file mercy petitions.

The court said to Mother of 2012 gangrape victim, "Have full sympathy with you. We know someone has died but there are their(convicts) rights too. We are here to listen to you but are also bound by the law."
