Nir Bitton names his dream Celtic five-a-side team as he teases Hoops pal Scott Bain

Celtic star Nir Bitton has revealed the players he would pick to play in a five-a-side team from his time at the club.

The Israeli hasn't been a regular under Neil Lennon with injuries causing him problems but he has filled in well at centre back when called upon.

Bitton signed a new contract in December that will see him stay at Celtic Park until 2023, meaning he'll have completed 10 years service at the Hoops if he sees it out.

During that time he's played with some big players and his five-a-side team is pretty good, with not many really being able to beat them.

The 28-year-old picked just two of his current team-mates in the shape of Scott Brown and Tom Rogic, with Fraser Forster also included after spending last year on loan.

The other two are obvious picks as well with Liverpool superstar Virgil van Dijk and Lyon striker Moussa Dembele also included.

Bitton was doing a Q&A and also took time to wind up his Hoops pal Scott Bain after he scored a stunning strike against him while the goalkeeper was at Dundee.

When asked what his favourite goal was, Bitton replied: “My favourite is the goal against Ajax in the Europa League because of the occasion. I have scored a few screamers in the league too.

“You can ask my good friend Bainy (Scott Bain), he was one of my victims.”
