Nintendo is rumoured to be working on cheaper version of its Switch console, aimed at "casual gamers".
The so-called Switch Lite is said to be smaller and less expensive than the Switch, which retails for £249.99 in the UK.
Nintendo reportedly sees it as a successor to its aging hand-held 3DS device.
The new console will still be able to plug into a television, but will be more portable, according to a recent report in the Wall Street Journal .

It is claimed that the cheaper model will cut costs by removing features - with vibration specifically cited.
Bloomberg this week suggested the new device would likely be launched by the end of June.
This led to speculation the new device could be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in LA, which run from 11-14 June.
However, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has told Japanese reporters that Nintendo won't be announcing any new Switch models at E3.
"As a general rule, we’re always working on new hardware and we will announce it when we are able to sell it," Furukawa told reporters in Osaka.
"But we have no plans to announce that at this year’s E3 in June."
As well as the Switch Lite, Nintendo is said to be working on a more powerful version of the console, with enhanced features targeted at avid gamers.
