Nintendo has announced a slate of new game releases for the Switch console during a livestreamed Nintendo Direct event last night (17 February).
Among the games to be announced are a remake of the PlayStation classic Legend of Mana, and a third game in the Splatoon franchise.
While many fans had tuned into the stream hoping for an update about the planned sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there was no news to speak of.
However, Zelda’s producer Eiji Aonuma revealed that more news about the game will arrive later this year.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD was announced, however, and will bring the decade-old Wii game to the new console, complete with motion controls.
Splatoon 3, the second sequel to Nintendo’s paint-slinging multiplayer action game, also debuted a trailer, though the game is not set to hit shelves until 2022.
Other announcements during the broadcast included Star Wars Hunters, a free-to-play online multiplayer game set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
There’s also an expansion pass for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a new Mario golfing game (Mario Golf: Super Rush) and the news that hit PS4/PC multiplayer game Fall Guys will arrive on the Switch this summer.
