Coastguard teams were called to three separate rescues in less than three hours including nine people stranded on Hilbre Island by the tide.
At 12.40pm yesterday, the coastguard went to help the group who were trapped on Middle Eye, part of Hilbre Island, due to the surrounding water.
One person had fallen and suffered a back injury.
Two hours earlier, two people had been cut off at North Bank in New Brighton, a section of sand dunes, by the incoming tide.
The Hoylake hovercraft was dispatched, but they had managed to wade ashore before the emergency services arrived.
At 1.15pm, the lifeboat crew on Wirral were alerted to a woman who was suffering a severe asthma attack while trying to retrieve her dog from flooding on the Marine Lake path in West Kirby.

She was given first aid at the scene before an ambulance took her to Arrowe Park Hospital.
A spokeswoman for HM Coastguard, at Holyhead, said: "People should always be mindful of the tides and be aware of their location in relation to the tide and the likelihood they could be cut off."
