Nine Omicron symptoms that are hitting people who are fully vaccinated

Research has revealed the nine Omicron symptoms that are hitting the fully vaccinated.

Now, according to a BirminghamLive report, a list of symptoms have been gathered by experts, including those likely to be experienced by those who have had vaccinations.

Professor Tim Spector, behind the ZOE Symptom Study App, confirmed: "Cold-like symptoms – including a runny nose, sore throat and persistent sneezing – became more common, along with a headache and cough, particularly in people who had been vaccinated."

The nine top signs and symptoms of the virus in the fully vaccinated who have had two jabs and then a booster shot are as follows, according to top experts:

  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Sneezing
  • Headache
  • Cough
  • Nausea
  • Muscle pains
  • Diarrhoea
  • Skin rash

The news comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon gave a coronavirus update at the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday where she confirmed there is now four times as many cases of 'stealth' omicron as last week.

Monitoring the situation through testing, the FM said there was "currently no grounds for significant concern", but reassured Holyrood that the sub-type will be watched.
