There are now 62 confirmed cases in the ACT.

ACT Health says of the nine new cases, seven are linked to overseas travel while the other two are close contacts of confirmed cases.

The new cases include six men and three women, aged between 21 and 73.

It says there is no evidence of community transmission.

The number of coronavirus cases in hospital has risen to five, up from three on Thursday. The rest of the confirmed cases are isolating at home.
