Nine changes and two full debuts... Manchester United fans pick their team to face Real Sociedad

Manchester United fans would like to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes nine changes and dish out two full debuts against Real Sociedad.

United hold a 4-0 lead going into the second leg of their Europa League last 32 encounter at Old Trafford on Thursday evening (8pm kick-off).

Goals from Bruno Fernandes (2), Marcus Rashford and Daniel James have given United a huge advantage at the halfway point of the tie.

That could tempt Solskjaer to rest a few players with half an eye on Sunday's visit to Chelsea in the Premier League.

Manchester United train ahead of Europa League second-leg against Real Sociedad

An interesting looking XI has emerged, which sees Nemanja Matic and James as the only players to keep their places from the 3-1 victory over Newcastle United at the weekend.

David De Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Fred, Fernandes, Rashford and Anthony Martial are all given a breather.

There are first senior starts for January signing Amad and young midfielder Ethan Galbraith, who has been added to the club's squad list ahead of the game.

Also coming into the side are goalkeeper Dean Henderson, defenders Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe, Eric Bailly and Alex Telles, midfielder Juan Mata and striker Mason Greenwood.

Galbraith made his first-team debut as a late substitute in last season's Europa League, against Astana in Kazakhstan in November 2019.

The 19-year-old played 90 minutes for United Under-23s in their 2-1 defeat away to Everton on Monday night.

Amad was given his first-team bow in the first leg against Sociedad, coming off the bench to replace Greenwood in the 83rd minute.

Another youngster, Shola Shoretire, could figure too after making his debut against Newcastle, but does not make your starting XI.

FANS' UNITED TEAM: Henderson, Williams, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Telles, Matic, Mata, Galbraith, Amad, Greenwood, James.
